I have been teaching mathematics courses at Broward College since 1988.  I have taught on North Campus and Central Campus.  I began as an adjunct which allowed me to be a fulltime mother to my two children.  I have been teaching fulltime since 2006.  Before teaching at Broward College, I was an actuary for a company that set the rates for Worker's Compensation Insurance.  Prior to that, I was a math teacher at Piper High School, in Sunrise, Florida.  I graduated from the University of Florida in 1983 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics.  I completed a Master's Degree in 1986 at Nova University.  My Master's Degree is in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Programming.
