Welcome to Pediatric Nursing. My name is Barbara Sherman and I teach in a live classroom setting at North Campus. I also teach an online pediatric nursing course that is coordinated at Central Campus. NUR 1310 is nursing care of children from infancy through adolescence. Knowledge and skills related to the care of the ill and well child are addressed. Developmental influences in child health promotion are discussed. I hope you find caring for children to be a postive and rewarding experience and leave the course feeling better prepared to care for ill children of all ages.
