In 1985, I earned a Bachelor's in Mathematics and a Bachelor's in History from Binghamton University. In 1987, I received a Master's in Mathematics from The University of Florida. I also completed additional graduate course work in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Education, and Educational Leadership at The University of Florida, Old Dominion University, and Florida Atlantic University.

I taught as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from 1985 - 1989 and as a Lecturer from 1992 - 1993 at The University of Florida. From 1990 - 1993, I was an Instructor at Santa Fe College. From 1993 - 1998, I was an Assistant Professor at Tidewater Community College. Presently, I am a Assistant Professor at Broward College. I have been at BC - North since 1998.
