Course Description:      This is a course designed to provide the student with the opportunity to utilize the nursing process in the care of patients with alterations in ingestion, digestion, metabolism, elimination, and fluid/electrolyte regulation.  The student will be expected to correlate theoretical knowledge and scientific principles with clinical situations.  Observational experiences, written assignments, and performance exams may be included in this course.
