Course Description:- This course is designed to provide the LPN student with knowledge of Alterations in Mobility, Skin Integrity, Neuro Regulatory Mechanisms, Metabolism, Endocrine, and Gastrointestinal Systems. The major focus is directed at meeting the health care needs of the adult through utilization of the nursing process. The student will be expected to integrate principles of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology of the neurologic, orthopedic, metabolic, endocrine and gastrointestinal systems. Considerations are given to assist the student in intervening with the physiological and psychological aspects of patient care.
