Course Description: This course will provide the student with the opportunity to apply the nursing process and to provide care in the clinical area to specific adult patients with alterations in mobility, skin integrity, neuro regulatory mechanisms, metabolism, endocrine, and gastrointestinal function.
The student will be responsible for providing care to assigned patients with dysfunctions of the neurological, orthopedic, metabolic, endocrine, and gastrointestinal function.
The experience will include clinical and written assignments. A satisfactory clinical grade will be based on the appropriate application of the nursing diagnosis and nursing process to both clinical and written assignments.
