I have a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, a Master of Arts in History, a Master of Divinity, and a Doctor in Ministry. My experience and appreciation of different religions have been greatly enriched by traveling to places such as Southeast Asia, the Caribbean, Central America, and North America.
I bring to the classroom an appreciation of world religions, informed by experiences with Shinto from time spent with Japanese and Okinawans, a blend of Roman Catholicism and traditional religions with Guatemalans, Santeria with Puerto Ricans, Voodoo with Haitians, and Sufi devotion and Islamic Jurisprudence with Kuwaitis.
