Use MS Paint to Create Template for Websites
Professor George Cooke

After several years of using a chalk board to draw diagrams for students to explain web site layout using HTML tables, Professor Cooke now uses Microsoft Paint to enhance the drawings with color after one class where colored chalk was not available to highlight sections of the layout for a website.

In his web enhanced Creating Web Sites (EDC0958) class, Professor George Cooke asks students to come to class with a proposed layout for a web site they want to build.  Using Microsoft Paint, George provides students with colorful diagrams of their proposed web site layouts that illustrates how they can build layouts using HTML tables.

Below are two samples of website layouts proposed and created with Microsoft Paint by two students.
